My voice joins the many, many, thousands offering condolences to those caught up directly or indirectly in the recent terrible events.
Whatever religion we profess, or even if we hold no religious views, we can only all join in support of all those affected and in utter condemnation of the murderers (for that is all they are) who gave no thought to the religion, age, gender and ethnicity of their innocent victims. They cannot be thought of as people of faith.
We can only use our anguish to come together, whatever our individual backgrounds, to use the power of love and light to lighten these dark days.
Remember also, all those who work daily in many roles the world over offering care, support and aid to the millions who also suffer on a daily basis and about who we hear so little. They are a beacon to all of us.
